How does consignment work?

• You will receive an invitation from katybird@consignoraccess.com to set up an account through which you will be able to view your inventory, track when it sells and expires and set up automatic payment through SimplePay.  
• Make sure to add Katybird to your email to avoid emails from going to spam
• Once you set up SimplePay, your balance will automatically be paid out on the 1st of every month through the system.  Payment for balance can be requested any time in between payout periods by contacting Katybird.
• Consignors receive 50% of the final sale of their item;  70% for high end designer bags
• After 60 days, remaining items may be reduced at the store’s discretion to promote a sale. If you DO NOT wish to have your items reduced, it is the consignor’s responsibility to pick up those items after the 60 day window.    Consignors have 10 days from the date of expiration to pick up any unsold items.  Remaining pieces will be donated to Jubilee Women’s Center.  Tax receipts are available upon request.

• We select what we believe our customers want to buy.  We take into consideration style, brand, age and condition.  We accept or deny based on our best judgment of the market as well as our current  inventory needs.  
• Katybird reserves the right to donate items where damage is discovered after the intake process is complete.
• All consignments are the legal property of the consignor during the consignment period.
• All reasonable care will be taken to protect consigned items, but Katybird  is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage of items.
